We're in J-town last week, attending Ricky's bestfriend wedding and Ricky is one of the best men. We're staying in Hotel Mulia fo the first two days and honestly I'm quite disappointed with the room, it's old and dark hence spacious. On the third day, we moved to Grand Hyatt Penthouse! And it's wauwwwww!! I'm totally in love with the design, it's similar to Blair Waldorf's house if you watched Gossip Girl series. It has 2 big bedrooms, spacious living room and dining room, study room and kitchen. It's my fist time staying in Penthouse and walaaaa it feels up in the air. Imagine living in Upper East Side world! U know what I mean.....

Two days ago, we're waiting in the boarding room in Jakarta airport. We took the earliest flight at 6:30 am, which means we need to woke up at around 4am. Basically we didn't have a good sleep. Both of us were very sleepy and tired after all busy and fun days in Jakarta. Suddenly we heard the operator called our names. And we thought hmmmm what went wrong? Somehow, don't you think it's so easy for human to think all the negative possibility that might happened? Cut the story short, we walked to the operator desk and the ladies said "you're lucky, you've got upgraded to Business Class" Me and Ricky look at each other with wide smile :))

This's the second time we've got upgraded to Business Class!! Praise the Lord and I hope more to come :D Lesson to learn, I need to have more positive attitude and thinking :))

I've been complaining about the pain and discomfort on my right hand for a while and it gets worst everytime I do my baking especially when I have to do lots of mixing and creaming. Few days ago, my hand mixer was broken and I feel so sad :( So we were browsing around for mixer on Saturday, 3rd Sept, and Ricky bought me a present, my dream KitchenAid stand mixer in candy apple red! I chose the new model which comes with 2 mixing bowl, 5 and 3 Quart. And the flat beater and dough hook are made from metal. Blessing in disguise!

Yesterday, I tried to use the mixer and wauwwww I'm speechless and amazed with the result. It makes my baking process so much easier. Creaming the butter seems effortless to me. Really it's my new BFF in my kitchen! No wonder all the top notch bakers and chefs love to use KitchenAid!

Dentist after 13 years

When's your last visit to Dentist? The last time I went to Dentist was maybe 13 years ago. It's been a long long time huh.... So finally Ricky made a Dentist appointment for me on last Saturday but it was postponed due to some water problem in the building. So at the end I went to Dentist this morning. I love my Dentist, he's very kind and he seems really good on it. Totally different from my Dentist in Medan who look very serious!

I'm very nervous and very much ready to hear all the complains from the Dentist. I did the X-ray too. Honestly, I'm quite amazed with all the hi-tech tools. It's totally different from what I saw 10 over years ago. He started the examination and he said NO PROBLEM at all with your teeth, all are very well maintained. And I was super duper happyyyyy!!! Next step, he did the cleaning and polishing. It's a little pain but still endurable. Finally, he checked the X-ray result and he told me "you will never have any wisdom teeth, that's very rare but you're one of the lucky one" My heart jumps even faster!!! I'm so grateful!! Deep in my heart said maybe God knows that I can't bear any kind of pain so he didn't give me any wisdom teeth :)

I promised myself to go to Dentist at least once a year for my own goodness and since it's all covered by insurance hihihihhi :p So my next visit will be on August 2012 :)

Summer Holiday

Summer holiday is finishing soon. Went to Macau for a short getaway on the 15th July to celebrate our 2 years wedding anniversary at Four Seasons Hotel. It was great and totally love the service, and the atmosphere. Above all I'm so grateful to have such a thoughtful husband :)

Three days later, I went back to Medan for almost 10 days last month, enjoying the Indo's luxury life such as go to salon everyday, massage, spent time with my family, not to forget EAT sate padang, martabak manis, kwetiaw goreng, mie pansit, nasi padang, etc etc etc!

And tomorrow I'm off to Singapore for another summer break for a week with my mom, sis and bro before starting my hectic schedule on the 23rd August. And here goes another eating list. I can't wait to eat Boon Tong Kee chicken rice, Newton fried oyster, yakun kaya toast, old chang kee curry puff, and CHILI CRAB at Long Beach! O well get ready to gain weight again.... That's the saddest part :(

gets really excited when I see my student improves in their playing

Few days ago I received an email from one of the parents:

"I must say thank you to you that you have absolutely inspired my girls and both of them are enjoying playing the piano now.She had the final audition yesterday and she will be one of the children who are playing for her graduation ceremony. The reason why I am pleased is not because she is being chosen. It's because she wants to do it and bothers to practise for the audition. Your effort and encouragement is really appreciated".

Can't asked for more but I'm truly grateful to be able to inspire and encourage

my students to love piano

Sometimes I wonder how I do it but I believe it's God's grace, wisdom and

favor that overflow in me

....I love to be a teacher, never regret a single day....

home sweet home

It's been 7 months I live in Hongkong and I started to call it home now. I realize home is where you are with your most loved one, it's a place where you found your joy and happiness. Even though I've been married since July 2009 but practically we are only together and live as husband and wife for 7 months. I love the feeling that I'm not alone anymore but he's always there by my side and we could talk about everything from the silly stuffs to serious matters. Thank God for this wonderful 7 months in HK and I believe greater journey are yet to come.

Still remember clearly the time when we were searching for apartment. As you know all apartments in HK are pretty old and look quite scary from the outside. But Thank God! He's never too late but He's just right in time and give us this apartment which just launch 3 months before we moved in on last November. So it's a brand new apartment and unit that we are in now. And it's so close to the city like only 10 minutes journey. Furthermore, it's a full facilities apartment with swimming pool, a huge gym area, yoga/dance studio, piano room, massage room, function room and I like the most is it has the steam and sauna in the changing room! I really love my apartment here :)

Because it's a brand new unit, so it is totally empty and we need to fill in with all the furnitures even the lighting. But I do really enjoy the time when we search for the furniture and keep in mind the mood of the home that we want.

I'm a satisfied customer of OCBC Bank :)

This's how the story goes. Last month I checked my bank statement online and I saw an unknown transaction in Euro which is equal to around $750 and almost ten different of US$1 transactions. I can remember clearly that I was in Singapore on that particular date and I didn't buy anything online. So, with panic and rather angry mind, I called the OCBC Bank and explained the situation to them. They said it will take 3 months to investigate the case and in fact they didn't mention that they're going to credit back the amount or what so ever.

Nothing much that can be done at that moment because I'm already in Hongkong. So I just listened to them and followed all the necessary procedure. And minutes ago I just checked my account and I'm so happy and satisfied that OCBC had credit back the amount to my bank account! How relieved I am! Can you imagine at least with that amount hmmmm maybe I can get another Hermes scarves or almost another pair of Louboutin?

In conclusion, I love Singaporeeeeeeeeee :)

What happened last night?

and when we're about to leave the place I said to Ricky my heartbeat was kinda fast

and I can't really walk straight and dizzy

the moment I woke up my whole body felt so restless and

I already sat beside the road

surrounded by people asking me are you okay?

the truth was I fainted for sometimes

and luckily Ricky and one of our friend was holding and catching me when I was fainted

since then I promise to myself I will never take any alcohol drinks anymore

still coffee and desserts are my bestfriend

Springdale

Touched down in Spore on 23rd November. My house is totally empty, all my flatmates had move out. And I'm literally home alone! The first and second night I couldn't sleep well because I never stay alone in this house. The fourth day I went to doctor because I got sore throat and thanks to the medicine that cause drowsiness and give me a good night sleep..... Thanks to Christine and Donna who brought me to the doctor after our Christmas fondue :) You guys are such a wonderful and great friend! Always fun to hang out with :)

Finally, today is the last day I sleep in Springdale. I lived here since 2005 when I was on my last year of my Uni till now. There're too many good and bad memories in this house. It's strange but I don't feel sad moving out from this place. Maybe because I know where's the house that I call home now. Like people said: The only way to forget the past is when you found your new happiness! Perhaps I found my new happiness now. Honestly I'm so looking forward to go back HK on Thursday and meet my yayank!

My first 2 weeks in HK!

It's been 2 weeks in HK, love the weather so much and of course starting to love HK :) The past 2 weeks was busy with the home furniture and decor. Thank God for the nice house that we can called it home! Above all, I'm very particular with toilet. Since our first house hunting I couldn't find any house that I like. There's one but it's kinda far from the city. So I'm kinda panic while the day was getting nearer. But thank God! His timing always a perfect timing! Honestly it never comes across our mind that we're going to stay in a brand new place. But our God is amazing God and His blessing always overflowing! Yes, finally we've got this place called the Island Crest in Hong Kong island and it's brand new and launched only 3 months ago. I love the lobby at the first sight when we viewed it and the facilities like gym, swimming pool, function room, sauna, mahjong room, computer lobby and the most important it has a really nice piano room! I will not forget the moment how we got this place. Indeed it's truly God blessing and miracles! Will post my home photos once it's ready! Still waiting for the sofa and some shleves for the living area :)

After 2 weeks busy with home stuffs, packing and unpacking, and get so tired with it I decided to go shopping with Ricky few days ago. And I'm in love with Hermes Herbag! But as usual, it's hard to get the Hermes bag. So I decided to leave them my contact number and surprise! They called me yesterday and said there's new shipping form Paris and it's the only piece in HK. Moreover, it's the latest colour, the rubis colour. Without much thinking, me and Ricky made our way there! And walllaaaa below are some of the pics!

Without realizing, in 2 days time, I'm going to take a long long long holiday to HK! Well, a long holiday without an end I would say. Simply there're too much memories in Spore that's too hard to forget. But still, at some point I need to let go and move on. That's life!

The good news is my "chocolate fudge sundae" is officially running starting on last Monday

I pray that everything will run smoothly

If I look back, all the changes that I face in the past indeed bring me to a different level

and a better life

So it is for this time!

More than words could explain how's my feeling now. It's the last week I'm teaching my students. Can you imagine that? I've been teaching some of my students since my 1st year Uni which is 9 years ago. Some are 5 years and the rest are at least 2/3 years. Meeting them once a week for such a long period, seeing their ups and downs indeed was a wonderful moment. And now it's time to say goodbye to them. I really hate this feeling and there's sudden emptiness in my heart and yes it hurts deeply.

Just got a blast from movie calls The Social Network. Practically, everybody knows and using Facebook in all around the world nowadays. When I was in NY, everybody was on the same page which is Facebook in the hotel lobby or in any other places. Isn't it cool? Called Mark Zuckerberg a nerd! But this nerd make it his way become world youngest billionaire. Fyi, he's born in year 1984! If you're facebook fans, I think you should watch this movies! Totally awesomeness!!

Packing started today and the first stop is in the store room. In the middle of separating the "keep and don't keep" stuffs, I've found all the books, essays, diary and even the bank statements during my Uni years. It gives me a moment to flash back how I survived all those Uni years. How hard I tried to get all the A's in the essays and projects. How difficult it is to managed time between study, practice, research and teaching after school. How hard I tried to earn and save more money in my account. Well, no regret at all! Indeed all those memories are so beautiful and it's still my unforgettable memorable 4 years. Thank God for allowing me to face all those wonderful Uni years which mold me to become who I am today :)

Another beautiful stuffs that I found in the store room is my wedding stuffs. Yes it's been 1 years and 3 months. It feels just like yesterday. But the memories are still clearly pictures in my mind. I read the beautiful wishing card from my friends, families and students. It's so sweet and nice of them. In the end, I've decided to packed all the wedding stuffs in a box and bring it to HK :)

And I'm looking forward for another blessed year and new chapter of my life to come :)

There's always "first time" moment in our life! Normally, it seems so difficult, hard and maybe simply feel lazy to start doing it. But once it gets started and get the momentum, it won't stop. And once you get through the process, you'll feel real good!

So last week, I tried to call the second hand shop to check on the price of my used furniture. Turns out the price is super ridiculous. Can you imagine they quote only $10 for washing machine and maybe $20 for dining table? So I took photos for each items and decided to advertised my used furniture by myself. What a surprised! The big items such as sofa, dining table, piano and TV are sold in 1 week time with a reasonable price! Not a bad business I think. Thank God for His unmerited favour! And not to forget my dearest hubby who's helping me out with the photos compilation :) Thanks for always being so close to me even though you're miles away. I love you much ^^

So I think last week was a fruitful week for me and spotted me doing something different which make my week even more colourful and meaningful!

I just read the eulogy that written by Mr.Lee. It's so inspiring. It shows how strong is their relationship and how they support each other to become who they are today. I salute Mrs.Lee, she's not only knowledgeable and smart but she's such a great wife and mother. I would say, behind a great man, there's always a great woman. Above all, I love the strong family value that they have. I always believe when you've a strong bonding with each other in the family it will makes you stronger to face the world.

My previous blog was still on my 4th day in NYC and guess what I'm back in Spore now after 2 weeks traveling in NYC and the other states; Philadelphia, Washington, Niagara Falls and Boston. It's been a great and wonderful days in NYC. The only part that I don't like is the long hours flight and long transit, around 6-7 hours in Dubai on my way back from NYC to Spore.

I'm totally enjoy the first 6 days in NYC because we travel by ourselves hence we have the privileged to enjoy good food such as Peter Luger steakhouse, del Frisco's steakhouse, Sarabeth's Lobster etc etc and of course good desserts especially MAGNOLIA CUPCAKES! never have enough of it, nice walk in Broadway, Manhattan, 5th Ave and the most important have a week to live as a New-Yokers!!! I love the energy and the "up" spirit in the NYC. It makes the day so colourful and lively. I like the way they talk and express themselves. Simple thing, realize it or not they always asked "how are you?" and end it with "have a good one!" Which I think it does brighten up my day somehow. Well you might say that they don't really mean it when they said it or just another "basa basi" but who cares? At least it does gives a good and positive attitude.

Today is the 5th day I'm in New York! The weather is perfectly nice for traveling, sunny and windy until this moment. I'm alone by myself going around New York with my dearly map. The subway is very complicated as compared to Spore and HongKong. It has few trains come and go on one rail with different code. And sometimes I need to go across the road to transfer to the other train and decide whether to go to uptown or downtown. However, it's totally a new experience for me and it feels super great when I'm able to find the spot that I wanted. So far so good and I'm luvin it!

It's my childhood dreams come true to be able to travel around the world since 2005. Thank God for His blessings and grace I've been to Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Tokyo, Hong Kong, China, Australia and Europe. Believe it or not, time does flies and I'm going to "Big Apple", nickname of New York City on this Saturday :) I'll be there for 2 weeks. I'm going to stay in NY for the first 5 days because Ricky has meeting there but not me so I'm going to travel around NY. After that we're going to Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Niagara and will be back to NY again before heading back to Singapore.

Having a real wonderful quality time with my dad, mom, sis and bro in Medan. It's been sometimes we didn't spend time together simply because we're in three different places. I'm here in Spore, my sis in Jakarta and my bro is in Medan.

The whole trip in Medan is eat, eat and eat with my family. I had Indonesian food the most like ikan gurami goreng and bakar, ayam bakar, ayam goreng, sambal kangkung, tempe bacem, cumi bakar, gulai kepala ikan, ayam cabe rawit, sate padang etc etc etc Oooo gosh! the list goes on and on. Not to forget also the famous "BOTAK'' char kwew tiaw and "A BENG" chinese food, mie pansit andalas, etc etc etc. And the most important enjoying salon time everyday and massage!

Above all the fun stuffs, I feel so happy, warm and comfortable with my parents, sis and bro around. We talked about all stuffs from the serious to the lame and funny jokes. I missed the moment when we teased each other and mostly my brother is the victim. I'm really grateful for having such a loving and happy family :) May God's grace and love and blessings be with us always! See you guys soon in Spore on September :)

Welcoming August with a big smile and overwhelmed with grateful feeling unto Him :) :) :)

I would say August is going to be traveling month for me, eventhough I'm used to travel almost once or twice month to HK. But this time, I'm going back to Medan on this Thursday till Monday, finally since last year I was there. Can't wait to go for spa and massage once I touch down, follow by salon and of course all my favourite food such as char kwetiaw, nasi padang, sate padang, martabak manis, mie rebus, mie awai, mie tiongsim, etc etc etc. Hope my tummy able to absorbed all that!

After Medan, I'm leaving for NEW YORKKKKK on the 15th August!!! I'm so so excited, imagining all the Upper East Side, Manhattan, Gossip Girls and also Sex and The City movies!!!! Since I'm a brunch lover, can't wait to try their brunch menu! Can't agree more that NY is going to be awesome and wauwwwwwwww can't waitttttttttttt!!!

1st anniversary

Time flies and without realizing it, we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary on 18th July in Hongkong :) It's very exciting and memorable moment for us. And I'm really looking forward for this day to come and finally it came last Sunday. Thank you God for your blessings and wonderful day.

So here the story goes! On Saturday morning, I was teaching in the morning. After I've finished teaching, Ricky text me said to meet at Pacific Place (one of my favourite mall in HK) because he need to settle some stuffs in the office. So we met in PP and we had our favourite caramel machiato and blueberry muffins in Sbucks. After a while, he said "Yank, that flower arrangement is so beautiful" so I saw it and when I turn back I saw a CONRAD hotel keys is infront of me. And I'm so so so happy because since last time I wanted to stay in CONRAD hotel HK which is link to PP :) My next question to him was, how about my clothes, shoes, bag, make-up pouch and etc? And he said I've packed all for you and is in the hotel room now :) I'm impressed!!! So, quickly we ran to our room. And it's really so so so beautiful and we're in the 53 floor so the view is spectacular especially in night time with all the skyline lighting. And after that we went for dinner at my favourite steakhouse in HK, the wooloomooloo :) And we spent our lovely and memorable wedding anniversary in the hotel till Monday :)

Thank you so much my dearest hubby for preparing all the surprises. Indeed you always surprise me and make my each days memorable. May God always bless our marriage and we walk hand with hand forever. Love you much.... my husband, my friend and my partner.

I would say today was totally an awesome day! I feel recharge spiritually and physically. First time went to New Creation Church (NCC) and felt really blessed with the word of God. Totally a new experience and new revelation for me and Ricky.

After so many years I didn't do any exercise, I went for swimming this afternoon and wauwww it feels really really GOOD afterwards! Even though before I went down to the swimming pool, it's such a contemplating moment for me just to convinced myself. But after swimming, I promise myself to have a regular swimming routine. Thanks to Ricky who drag me down to the swimming pool :) Well, he's back to HK now :(

At the moment, can't wait for my HK trip again on Thursday and be with him again ^^

I was driving to my student place this afternoon at 4pm and listening to Taylor Swift CD, not some spiritual CD. But suddenly, I feel so grateful and rejoice with no reason. Then I started to pray and I feel so grateful could experienced His kindness, love, grace and miracles in my life. And God gives me this understanding that sometime God allows some hard time in my life so that I could experience even more of His kindness, love, grace and miracles. If I only have a good time in life, I believe I will not understand what's God's grace and miracles. And I will never acknowledge God but only acknowledge myself . It might not something new for you out there but it refreshes me a lot and I hope for you too. The experience was so wonderful this afternoon. Thank you God for giving me a new understanding again and again.

It's been 17 days in HK and it's almost time to go back to Spore. After almost 3 years commuting between Spore and HK, I started to love HK during this trip. At first it's so hard for me because I'm simply too comfortable in my comfort zone in Spore. But one thing for sure, every changes will make our life better. Sometimes in life we desperately want a change but at the same time we don't want to get out from our comfort zone simply because we're afraid and worry. Lately, I realize all the changes that I've ever had in my life indeed make my life better in one way or another.

2001 I moved to Spore and continue my studies. CHANGES that creates who I am today and I'm become independent as compared to my life in Medan

2005 Graduated as Best Graduate which I'm still so grateful for that until this moment. I can make my God and parents proud. I worked in Music School and NAFA

2007 Another big CHANGES, resigned from the Music School and set up my own company which is a very big decision and a terrible moment because I'm worried how to get more private students but again HE never late and always provide all that I need and even abundantly! Thanks to Ricky who always supported and encouraged me. At this moment, I'm really grateful that I made the decisions to resigned and I'm doing what I enjoy the most teaching privately where I can have more flexibility in my time and of course it's much more higher income as compared to the Music School. And the crucial part is, if I didn't resign at that time, how can I visit Ricky every month to HK? I don't think the music school will allowed the teacher keep asking for leaves!

2007 Ricky proposed me in Bali, ooooo so sweet and I'm still clearly remember all the sequence :p Half a year later, another big CHANGES in our relationship. Ricky went to HK for his Master and we're in Long Distance relationship which's very very challenging and it's kind of nightmare but thank God for the process and we've gone through it by His Grace

2008 Wedding preparation which can't be done without my three best Wedding Organizers Bombie, Elrica and IeIe. I'm really appreciate all of you and your efforts despite your own busy working days. Again thank you, no words can expressed how grateful am I and Ricky to have you guys and only God will bless all of you even greater and abundantly.

2009 Tying the Knot which I'm really grateful for that day and it's my happiest moment in my life

2010 I'm still commuting between Spore HK, soon going to be an END and here's the big CHANGES! Thank God for convincing me and give me all the surprises for me in HK in this 2010. I know it's all your Grace and your kindness that overflow in my life

Looking forward for the big changes! At first, I'm totally afraid and worried for the changes but now I know that every changes is like a little dots that God allows it to happened and come to the end when we join all the those little dots, it's become a nice painting of our life.

Girls will never have enough of shoes! The list always goes on and on. Flats, heels, wedges, sandals, peep-toes, covered shoes, etc etc etc. When I get a new pair of shoes I'll tell my self, it's enough now. But when I see another pair I'll tell myself hmmm it's a must have shoes!

So this's what happened to me this week. At first I bought the Ferragamo Carla because they have my size and it's a good deal here in HK. After that I tried on a Christian Louboutin's Ron Rons in nude and it feels just nice on my feet and immediately I know I'm so going to get it. So here am I getting another pair of shoes.

And I'm so so so extremely happy todayyyyy!!!

Life is about choices. Do u choose to be happy or sad? love or hatred? Of course we want to choose to be happy and to/being loved. But in reality, it's not an easy decision to made because it's not just about logic but it's involving heart and feeling. And somehow the negative thought always come before the positive thought. Sometimes I wonder why?

Today has been a tough day for me because there's a problem that keep coming back and forth. I'm really tired of it and I hurt really badly. But a moment ago, my mom and dad called me, they sounded so happy and we chat for little while and I felt so happy and excited!!! How I wish I can go back my hometown and spend time with them. I'm so grateful to have them as my parents, they're so so so understanding and loving. Afterwards, my bff called me and we chat for a little while, here and there. Suddenly I tell my self, I'm so blessed to have such lovely parents, good husband and also my pretty bff who sincerely care and love me so much. So what's the big deal with that small little unnecessary annoying problem? We can 't control what others have in their mind but we can control what we have in our mind! Ooo well life still goes on and the most important is I choose and I want to be happy!

Yes, I'm a Eggs lover ^^ I love Egg Benedict and Egg Florentine so much. What are the different then? Well, Egg Benedict is filled with meat such as ham and bacon. Egg Florentine is filled with spinach. It's a perfect choice for Brunch! There're two basic steps but yet demanding is how to poached the egg and make the hollandaise sauce perfect.

In Spore, I've some suggestion where you can have this Eggs. You can try Wild Honey at Mandarin Gallery, The Riders cafe at Fairways Drive, Choupinette at along Bukit Timah Road, Oomphatico's at Tanglin and PS Cafe at Harding.

Just watched SATC2 last night! It was hilarious!!! Especially Samantha, she never fails making everybody laugh out loud. It's very enjoyable movies where you're not just following the storyline but also all their fashion details such as their dresses, bags (noted Dior and Hermes), shoes (mostly are Christian Louboutin), accessories. And and and I love Carie and Mr. Big new house. It was so stylish but yet homey and elegant. Of course, Carie's walking wardrobe is every girls desires!!!

Sakit lage :( kali ini lumayan parah dari Sabtu sampe skarang :( As usual it started with sore throat then running nose and fever on Sunday sampe kmaren ini. Kebetulan gua dijadwal di TKISS and I have no choice but I have to go because it's not possible to find a replacement in last minute but thank God everything was okay until the service ended. Indeed I feel blessed!

Abis itu gua pulang, dinner, minum obat dan langsung tidur. However pas bangun2 pagi gua masi lemes bgt badan gua seharian. The worst is kmaren midnite sekitar jam 2-an gua sakit perut dan sori *mencret* trus abis itu masi sakit bgt perut gua dan suddenly dada gua kerasa freeze gitu kayanya darahnya ga ngalir dan tangan ama kaki gua keram gituw dan rada sesak :( Before that I know it's coming this freezing feeling, and I'm really scared and worried :( Pas gua liat muka gua di cermin itu pucat bgt. Dan gua langsung ke ranjang dan keringatan dingin. And at that moment gua cuma bisa berusaha tenangin diri gua dan one thing that I did is I pray in Jesus name and speak in tounge. And I'm okay after sometimes. And again, I'm really grateful I'm a Christian, at least when there's no one else by my side, I know God is always there and He will and always help me out of it. And abis itu gua tidur lage sampe bsok paginya. And thank God that I'm feeling better now....

I love CHICAGO! It tells the tale of Roxie Hart (main character), a nightclub dancer who kills her lover, then convinces her husband to come up with the $5000 to hire Chicago's shrewdest, smooth-talking lawyer, Billy Flynn. And it also talks about the concept of "Celebrity Criminal".

There're 5 main characters in it:

Roxie Hart (Mezzo-soprano) - A wannabe vaudevillian and murderess who kills her ex-boyfriends after a spat and is sent to jail. She hires Billy Flynn to help prove her innocence as well as make a name for herself.

Velma Kelly (Alto) - A vaudevillian and murderess who is on trial for murder. She is also represented by Billy Flynn and competes with Roxie Hart over him.

Billy Flynn (Baritone-tenor) - Velma and Roxie's lawyer who has a perfect track record and makes celebrties of his clients to win sympathy and sway public opinion (in his words, "Give them the old razzle-dazzle")

Amos Hart (Baritone) - Roxie's faithful and good-natured, but incredibly simple husband.

Matron "Mama" Morton (Alto) - The matron of the Cook County Jail who believes that all favors she gives should be reciprocated. She is implied to be a lesbian (as noted in "When You're Good To Mama")

Mary Sunshine (Soprano) - The newspaper reporter who follows the trials of both Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly.

It was so entertaining and I love their perfect coordination in dance and music. Their dance movement is so unified and full of energy. I would say technique really counts here. In performing arts nothing is instant! Another interesting point, this musical has very limited props I would say but very effectively used. It has only six chairs and each ladders on left and right side with the musicians on stage. The music was so original with different colours, textures and styles. The most number of instruments in this musical is brass family. Only 1 violin, 2 pianos, 1 drum sets. And not to forget of course is the lighting which compliment all the stage movements.

SUPER DUPER TIRED! Flight from HK to Spore, SQ1 at 8am. Basically I didn't have a good sleep the night before because I'm worried I'll overslept. And I only slept for 2 hours during the flight. Touched down Spore at around 11:40am. Finally reached home around 1pm, getting ready and rush for my next class at 3pm. I felt like zombie yesterday. I can't even scold my student who didn't practice, no energy. I'll never ever catch the Monday early morning flight anymore.

I believe everyone will face this junction of life where you have to decide on something really important in your life and you will face the moment where you have to follow your heart or follow your brain. I've lots of questions that pops up on my mind these few days. What if? Why? How? and it goes on and on until I feel tired and fall a sleep.

This morning I couldn't find my car-key and I almost skip church. Suddenly I remembered I put my key in my pocket and yes I found it. So I was there just in time when the speaker just about to start to preach. And I didn't have much expectations. Surprisingly the words of God speak to me very clearly and it does give me a new strength and courage to take my next step. I felt so recharged after the service. And I was like fiuh luckily I didn't skip church just now ^^

The speaker, well-known evangelist and best-selling author John Bevere shared about GRACE. Most of us understand GRACE as forgiveness, gifts, and ticket to heaven. But we forget that GRACE is an empowerment that enable us to go beyond our natural ability.

Somehow Pedi-Manicure never fails to lighten up my day. My favourite place is Lush Nail at Holland Village since 2005, almost 5 years till now. And they're using OPI brand which is my favourite nail polish. Also I find it really interesting because each colour has its own nickname.

Well, bright colour is always my trademark such bright red, shocking pink, or sometimes brown-ish tone called the "chocolate mousse". But today I tried out a new colour from OPI called "Make Love". It's kind of a sweet light pink. At first I'm not confident about this colour but after the manicurist complete all the polishing, I'm totally in love with this colour. Somehow it gives me a fresh and happy feeling ^^

Perfect Weekend!

Last weekend was PERFECT! simply because Ricky is in town and we could enjoy our weekend together. It really meant a lot for us and we treasure it deeply. Because we can't spend every weekend together. So you guys out there don't take your partner for granted cause it ain't feel good when your partner is not around especially for long term.

And of course we eat really a lot. Can you imagine we had Chili Crab for our supper at 10pm? and I gain 1 kg for the next day ~_~ well well expected....

On last Saturday we went to Universal Studio. Hmm not that fantastic because it's quite small and you can finished it in half a day, especially not all the rides are ready at this moment. Guess what! The first and only ride that I took is the Mummy return ~_~ It's something like roller coaster but it's indoor. I really feel like dying during the ride! And I promise to myself I will never ever take this type of ride anymore.

Other than the ride, we did enjoy the shows especially SHREK and Waterworld. Take note if you don't want to get wet during the Waterworld show, make sure you sit at the correct seat. Because it divides into 3 category; wet, a little wet and dry area. The other shows that we saw is Monsters in Rock and Roll style and the Donkey shows which I think super duper lame. We wanted to tried the Jurassic Park ride but it was close due to the technical problem.

We did enjoy the surrounding because it has different style of building architecture and quite colourful. I think it's going to be a very nice location for pre-wedding photos! So you guys out there who's getting married do consider about it.

Eyelashes extension

Last Wednesday I went for eyelashes extension recommended by my friend. I'm so curious about it and wanted to give it a try. Firstly she will put the glue then stick each of the lashes on top of it. So after the process my eyelashes become longer and more volume as if I'm using the fake eyelashes. It looks so natural and safe my make-up time because I don't need to apply mascara anymore. I quite like it :) This eyelashes extension could last for around 2 weeks and after that you've got to go back and do the touch up. They do have a package which you can go back anytime, unlimited service within 6 months to touch up. The owner tried to offer and push me to get the package and it's quite worth it logically.

Fiuhhhh luckily I didn't buy the package because I felt so uncomfortable with it especially when I need to wash my face and shower. I thought it might take few days to get used to it. But until this morning I couldn't take it anymore and I went to remove it. It does cause a little pain because they sort of pluck each of the fake lashes ~_~

Now I feel so so GOOD with my natural eyelashes.

Baru kmaren balek dari HK and masi gloomy bgt soalnya kangen ama Ricky ~_~ Eh tadi pagi mau pergi ngajar mobil gua ga bisa start-up. Beteee plus bingung.... akhirnya naek taxi ke ngajar :(

Dan gua telpon ke Borneo Motor katanya mobilnya harus di TOW ke tpt servicenya, trus ga tau jam brapa baru bisa kelar. Untung aja pas pulang ngajar, gua liat ada bengkel gituw trus orangnya bisa langsung dateng ke ruma dan benerin. Ternyata bener battery mobil gua flat trus diganti batterynya dan mobil gua langsung OK. Yessss! Kalo ga pasti ga convenient bgt seharian hari ini ngajarnya banyak pula. Thank God deh ^^

Yes! Here I'm in HK again ^^ Pretty nice weather, cooling and windy but not as cold as 3 weeks ago when I was here.

HK is not just a shopping heaven for me but I found lots of my favourite food here in HK, not only Chinese food. Without we realized it, these three days we had Japanese food for our dinner.

First day we had Morihachi Yakiniku, it's Japanese BBQ. I love the Wagyu beef, it's so juicy and tender!

I tried ramen at Ippei-An. I love the tasty soup and of course the juicy sliced pork and not to forget the eggs.

I had my dinner at Butagumi Katsu in HK, it's my best tonkatsu ever in my life! It's not as thick as the normal tonkatsu that I had before. It's so tender yet crispy. Simply irresistible and a must must have in HK.

Setelah sekian lama gua engga do something different and new, finally yesterday I did it! Sampe gua amazed ama diri gua sendiri, nekat aja and dapet keberanian dari mana coba ~_~ But I love the after feeling!! Feels like conquering the world ahahhaahah

Kayanya gua makin tambah umur makin nekat and makin pengen do something different and new tiap hari! Hmmm.... apakah ini tanda2 penuaan diri atau guanya makin adventurous? hahaha

Sad sad sad, sedih sedih sedih gua ga bisa pake Jurlique foaming cleanser ku lage padahal I love this Jurlique so so much! I love the texture and the smells. I started this brand with the blemish cream which recommended by my best buddy Ancila and I love the smells so much! When I was in HK last 3 weeks I tried the make up remover and the cleanser because there's a sudden break-out of acne on my face. I suspect it might be my oil type make up remover. And after I used Jurlique, I feel my face really fresh, clean and brighten up. Since I'm using this products I always look forward to my night routine.

But yesterday I went to dermatologist at Mount E, Dr. LL Cheong and she prescribed me a new set of cleanser and creams for acne ~_~ means that I can't use my own skincare anymore. But luckily she still allowed me to use my own make up remover which is Jurlique balancing cleansing lotion. Because lately I've so many acne, exactly like the one I had before my wedding day last year. Well it's getting better now as compared to previous week.

Nah selama ini pasti kita ngertinya sariawan alias ulcer itu terjadi karena panas dalem, kurang minum air, kurang vitamin C. Tapi kayanya kepercayaan itu cuma buat kita yang di Indo soalnya gua dulu perna obrol2 ama temen gua orang Korea, mreka percayanya sariawan itu karena ada virus atau bakteri.

Nah tadi gua coba google tuh penyebab si ulcer:

A mouth ulcer is an open sore inside the oral cavity. Two common mouth ulcer types are aphthous ulcers (canker sores) and cold sores (caused by the herpes simplex virus).

The types of oral ulcers are diverse, with a multitude of associated causes including: physical or chemical trauma, infection from microorganisms or viruses, medical conditions or medications, cancerous and sometimes nonspecific processes. Once formed, the ulcer may be maintained by inflammation and/or secondary infection.

Symptoms

The symptoms preceding the ulcer may vary according to the cause of the ulcerative process.

Some oral ulcers may begin with a sharp stinging or burning sensation at the site of the future mouth ulcer. In a few days, they often progress to form a red spot or bump, followed by an open ulcer. Sometimes this takes a little bit longer, depending on the cause of the ulcer.

The oral ulcer appears as a white or yellow oval with an inflamed red border. Sometimes a white circle or halo around the lesion can be observed. Hmmm gua mau bertekad blajar masak nih, mumpung mami gua lage disini. Hopefully kali ini bener2 kesampean. Soalnya dari taon lalu pas mami gua disini, gua pengennya blajar tapi ga jadi2. Cuma kadang yang buat gua males itu kalo misalnya si mami masaknya buat lunch nah itu kan gua pasti lagi jamnya siap2 and dandan2 buat pergi ngajar trus uda parfum-an segala. Jadi rada males kalo ke dapur apalagi ntar badan and bajunya bawa asap atau masakan gituw. Nah kalo malem malesnya itu karena pulang2 ngajar uda malem jam 8 an dan uda cape kali ke dapur lagi pengennya langsung dinner and abis itu waktu nyantai. Haizzzz emank banyak alasan nih gua.

Yayy just renewed my Re-entry permit aka my PR for another 5 years until 2015 ^^ Praise the Lord it's APPROVED within 15 minutes! I'm kind of worried just now because I'm self-employed so I thought the procedure will be more complicated as compare to those who's employed by a company. But turns out to be fine. Thank God for everything!

Capeeee abisss hari ini.... tapi puas! soalnya lakuin sesuatu yang baru hari ini. Pagi2 bangun terus ke gereja di CHC! Bayangin uda 9 taon di Spore gua kaga perna ke CHC sama sekali. Terus hari ini bertekad mau ke CHC mumpung yang laen2 juga mau kesana. Well JAUHHHHH bgttt kesana gua sampe pas nge-drive kesana bosen abis rasanya, ga nyampe2. But it worth it! I love the way Pastor Kong preach. Maybe because it's the first time I'm there but however I felt the presence of the Lord was so strong . That's the most important!

Ga kaya di Crown Casinonya Melbourne banyak cafe2 and restaurant yang enak. Cuma Victoria Secret doank yang lumayan interesting tapi itu juga hmmm kecilll storenya and sizenya pada ga lengkap gituw. So yah cukup sekali kesana haah Looking forward buat Casino yang di Marina. Katanya sih bakal lebih grand.

Kejadian barusan ini bener2 super lucu.... Ceritanya tadi itu gua lagi jemput mami gua di Airport. Terus ternyata pesawatnya delay sampe jam 12 midnite baru nyampe. Jadi ada tempat duduk kosong dan gua duduk, ternyata sebelahnya itu orang2 medan. Dan mreka omong2 bahasa hokkian gituw, yah pasti gua denger donk mreka omongnya volumenya lumayan kenceng jadi ga mau nguping juga jadi nguping hahahaha Tiba2 serasa di Medan gua dan lucu2 aja tuh mreka omongnya. Gua jadi kebayang and kangen ama temen2 gua di Medan.

Cerita yang paling lucu itu, dia omong ke temennya kalo pas dia naek pesawat dari Spore ke Medan pesawatnya delay, pertama gara2 ada technical problem dan kedua ternyata dia bilank ada passanger yang passportnya itu ketinggalan di ruang tunggu seblom boarding. Jadi tuh pesawat uda terbang dan tiba2 parkir lage cuma buat itu passanger ambil passportnya. OMG dalam hati gua sambil nahan ketawa dalam hati....

Trus ada yang lebi lucu lage katanya lage pas dia lage naek pesawat dari Medan ke Spore pesawatnya telat juga dan tau ga apa alasannya? ternyata ada lage passanger yang tas LV nya ketinggalan di ruang tunggu dan ini passanger langsung kabur buat nyelamatin tasnya. Pas denger cerita ini gua uda langsung kabur soalnya gua uda ga kuat nahan ketawa lage waakkakaakka

Dan barusan kata mami gua ini delay gara2 ada passanger yang barang2nya uda di pesawat tapi ga ada orangnya. Jadi tadi di pesawat itu ada absensi, kaya di TK gituw satu2 dipanggili namanya hahahaha

this is my first morning in hk after being in spore for more than 3 months. i feel weird being back in this city. my mind keep spinning and it is kind of difficult for me to settle and rest at night.

i keep thinking about my wife and how i miss her so much. a lot of time, when someone is not beside you, at that very time you realize how important that someone is. this is very true for my wife, she is a very important person for me. she loves me, supports me, makes me laugh and all of her make me feel joyful, peaceful and restful. if i can choose over all of other thing in this world. i choose to be beside her and make her happy the rest of my life.

but here i am back in hk again, in this cold morning. missing her badly... and she is not by my side.

Reporting here from Hongkong! The weather here is getting colder and colder every day. And me didn't bring any of my winter jacket. Because last week weather was 25 degree Celsius so I thought I will only bring my fashion jacket. But suddenly it drops to 10 degree Celsius. So I need to do some winter clothing shopping here which I don't really keen on doing it because it's going to change the season soon ~_~ Well I managed to get the leather ankle knee boots, 2 sweaters, 1 black pashmina to keep me warm.

This's the first time I spent my CNY in HK. Initially I thought all the shops and restaurant will close. And I need to eat fast food for at least the first 3 days of CNY. But surprisingly, almost all the shops and restaurants are open. Hmmm the HK people really really love money I guess!

We had our 8th Valentine dinner and this's the first Valentine after our marriage at the private kitchen "Le Marroon", they serves nice French food and dessert! I love the restaurant atmosphere and also the home-like interior. Not to forget, all the customers are allowed to bring their own wine/champagne with free corkage. Above all the nice and delicious food, the most memorable is the moment we can have our heart to heart talk.

12-2 Looking for specs at Queensway and finally I found one! Yayyy make my day a little happy! I think the last time I made my specs was in 2001 before I came to Spore. Because most of the time I'm wearing contact lense. Well my new specs is in black plastic frame with double frame! confuse?? don't worry I'm gonna post it once I get the specs on Wednesday! Luckily I didn't get the one in Orchard yesterday because the price in not reasonable at all after I think of it!

I hate this weekend, because Ricky went back to Hongkong for GOOD :( yes, again I cried a bucket..... At the other hand, I'm glad because he got his job in Goldmann Sachs which is every banker's dream bank to work at. I'm so proud of him and thank God for this.

Things that I missed when Ricky is not around:

1. I've to eat alone again

2. Alone in this room, this room become so so so quiet

3. No more supper time

4. When I'm sad, I've nobody to hug

5. I've nobody to express my "iseng" mode

6. I've nobody to watch Desperate Housewives or Gossip Girl with me

7. I've nobody to "omelin"

8. Go to supermarket by myself again

9. Nothing to look forward after whole busy teaching day

10. I can't peep on his BB anymore

As for now, I just look forward to Saturday 13th Feb at 3:45 for my flight to Hongkong to spend CNY with him :)

Weekend Trip

Finally after 10 years, I visited Jakarta last weekend with Ricky. It was a great and memorable trip. I believe companion is more than anything when you talk about traveling. I would say I'm trully blessed with Ricky and Denny around during this trip. And also Angel and my sis!

We arrived in Jkt in morning time, then we went to Bandung. We went to Rumah Mode which I think nothing much to buy there. Had lunch at Kampung Daun. I love the place and of course the food is so yummyyy.... Nasi liwet and bebek bakar and of course es kelapa muda, drrroolssss.... Abis itu ke Padma hotel and ngafe. Nice scenery there!

Hari kedua, ke ITC hahaha kalo ga ke ITC kayanya ga kerasa ke Jkt kali yah.... Thanks to Angel yang bawa keliling2 and I got 2 items there! haah jujur agak maksa sih belinya. Abis kalo ga beli rasanya kurang sregggg wakakakaka Abis ITC, ke Senayan City or bahasa kerennya SenCi hehehe And finally i tried my first Sour Sally there! The Sour Sally icon is so cute! I tried the Strawberry yoghurts with Lychee and Mochi toppings! Yummyyy... And we had our dinner at Leko (iga penyet) and Mi Sakaw... both are so yummy...

This is the memorable Sunday! We went to JPCC! Finally... after so many times just heard about the name, It was great service! not to mentioned the Praise and Worship was awesome! What a coincidence, Brian Houston (the Senior Pastor of Hillsongs) was in town. The message was so powerful. It talks about the "KINGS" that you are going to face when you're going to received something BIG from God! After church, we went to Social House at Grand Indonesia and Segarra. I met Ricky old friends Olivia and her brother Timotius.

And the last day, went to Ratu Plaza, Plaza Indonesia. We had our last lunch at Marco's Bofet and dinner at Tekko (iga penyet) and finally I found the martabak manis.

Best joke that I'll never forget during this trip was we tried to talk to each other by using bbm language such as u2, y, cpk, cpkd hahaahahha it was so so so funny! and that time everybody was so sleepy and tired! So can you imagine when you're sleepy but yet something crack your mind to translate the bbm language!

One thing that never change from Jkt is the traffic jam and everybody drives super fast including Denny! Honestly, I'm kind of worried and scared sitting at the back hehehe But two thumbs up for Denny!

However, I have a drastic change of my haircut because I'm totally bored with my old hairstyle. I think I've my old hairstyle for at least 5-6 years. So today I cut it short and colour it black!

I'm officially 27 now! And this's the first bday after our marriage. Dan ini bday yang somehow gua kerasa memorable bgt buat gua. I just feel good about it. Eventhough gua malem sblom nya itu sorethroatnya bener2 sakit bgt sampe minum air aja super super sakit. The worst sorethroat I ever had!

So flash back ke tgl 11 January, ada acara dinner ama temen2 gua yang dateng dari Medan Ancila, Angela, Alwin and Olive di Spize di River Valley. Soalnya si Alwin lage ngidem pengen prata. Trus after itu kita ke Geylang buat makan durian "mao shan wang" yang bijinya super kecil tapi dagingnya tebal bgt. Hmmm buat durian omongnya daging ga yah? Asik bgt rasanya ngumpul bareng mreka2 ^^

Abis itu nah ini dia yang lucu si Ricky super2 trying hard buat killing time sampe dia muter2 jalan ke Holland Village buat beli Evian sampe jam 12 pas midnite hahahaha And after that kita pulang ke rumah, dan anak2 dirumah uda pada di pintu buat ngasi cake dan kado ^^ Thank you Fanny and Trang and Delwin:)

Dan ini palink sweet ternyata Ricky has already decor our room full of flower with scented candles and of course the lovely gift. I really really appreciate his effort and love love love his way to surprise me.

12 January, pagi2nya gua langsung ke dokter karena sorethroat masi sakit bgt dan rada demam. Arghhhh sejak Nov sampe Jan kayanya gua uda 4 kali ke dokter :( kok makin bertambah umur makin sensitif ini throat. Trus abis makan obat gua ngantukkkkk dan tidur dirumah sampe jam 5 an trus dinner di Mandarin Gallery bareng Ian and Denny. Rencana awal pengen cobain Gyu Kaku tapiii throat gua ga bisa diajak kompromi hiksssss jadi harus avoid those grill and fried food. And abis dinner kita ngafe ke Coffee Bean and ternyata Bombie, Alfon, Dian, Iie and Widiya uda plan buat surprise gua. No wonder Ricky ngotot banget mau ngafe di daera Orchard hehe Dan gua bener2 kaget and suprise soalnya pas gua balek badan loh kok ada mreka2 hahahahaha that's so so so sweet of you guys ^^

So I think what makes this Bday so memorable because I'm surrounded by my lovely friends (Ancila, Angela, Alwin, Olive, Bombie, Alfon, Dian, Bombie, Iie, Widiya, Ian, Denny, Delwin, Trang and Fany) and of course my husband and all the wishes from bbm, facebook and sms ^^ You guys really make my 27th Bday a memorable Bday ever!

Mr. Fix

I'm so glad I found him and later I call him my Mr. Fix! He's someone that I count on to fix everything for me. Name it, from the less important stuffs to the most important stuffs. I can always count on him. For example: he can fix my favourite bracelet and necklace, bags, keychains, laptop, washing machine, create excel sheet for my personal use and the recent one is my Blackberry where out of sudden all my contacts are gone and I didn't received any notifications on my Blackberry where there's updates on my facebook. And you guys know why is it so? Because all the facebook emails that link to my Blackberry were in the Spam mail. So it can't be pushed to my Blackberry. And my Mr. Fix, fix it for me!

Above all, he's not only capable to fix all those stuffs, but he's able to fix my mood whenever I'm down and sad.

Thank God I found you ^^

Love and Hate

I love January and also hate January.

Love it because it's my Bday month and also Ricky Bday and also my parents Bday month means there're lots of celebration yayyy

Hate it because I have to re-arrange all my schedule because most of my students will have their new school timetable. Always have bad headache on January! And today is my first teaching day in January 2010 and quite busy in arranging all the schedule. Hope it will over soon!!

Lunch at Gunther's, French restaurant and we fall in love with the food there, it's highly recommended.

Church Service, and it was GREAT! feel so blessed and ready for 2010

Dinner at Korean restaurant at Dempsey which I think not as good as the one in Esplanade or even Crystal Jade Korean restaurant is better but what important is with great companions Alfon, Dian and Rimbun

Count down at PS Cafe, love the atmosphere and the crowd there. Rimbun came out with his idea to share the good and worst time in 2009. Good idea Rimbun ^^

Went to Mt.Faber and there was a bad traffic on the way out from Mt. Faber and it's Ricky's idea

After all it's TRUE companionship which matter the most!

30 hours to 2010

Here we are, 30 hours to 2010. Hmm people asked me are you excited? At first I just answered well it's another day, another month and another year. But after that I flash back and start to count what I've achieved and how God has blessed me in 2009, my heart overwhelms with joy and thankful. And surely I know something GREAT and even GREATER will happened in 2010. I'm excited and looking forward to miraculous things that going to happened in 2010!

Of course there're good and things that we learnt. And it always easy to start with good things. So here're the good things:

1. I'm married with man of my life in my dream venue wearing my dream gown, dream shoes and of course with my beautiful bouquet

2. I took the most photos in my whole life ever and some are shot by a world class photographer

3. I travel the most this year; to Hongkong, Japan and Europe (Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Innsbruck, Liechteinstein, Lucern, Blackforest, Cologne, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm)

4. Completed my 2009 wish "lists"

And here's the lesson that I learnt the most in 2009 is about friendship. Do you believe there're politics in friendship? Well, at first I don't believe it until I experienced it. Maybe I'm too innocent? Not into details but I learnt that it takes time and never ever in rush and gone to fast and only time could prove if a friendship worth to be called a true friendship. And whatever it is, only trust and be around people that make you feel peaceful and you shall have a peaceful life. For those who bring peace around you shall be called the sons and daughters of God. Well that's over and I'm learning to bless this political friend of mine and move on to amazing 2010.
